Steve Tersheshee, P.A.-C practices as one of our high quality Physician Assistants at Doctors Urgent Care. He is a board-certified Physician Assistant with over 20 years of experience in emergency medicine. Originally from Los Angeles, California Steve began his career working as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in South-Central Los Angeles. During this time, he worked closely with LA County Fire & Rescue. He went on to accept a position at PIH Health Whittier Hospital.
Steve completed his undergraduate degree in 1999 from Kapiolani College in Honolulu, HI. He graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at Riverside College in California in 2001. He enjoys volunteering within the community, and while in school, he volunteered with the Indian Health Services, a Federal Health Program for American Indians and Alaska Natives.
In his free time, Steve enjoys sailing, water sports, playing the drums, classic cars, and spending time with family & friends.
